Burnaby Mountain

Nine hikers joined the hike on a beautiful sunny day. We started from the Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area parking lot at around 9:00 AM. We headed down along the Trans Canada Trail, Powerline Trail, and Pipeline Trail. We got a good workout by climbing up Nicole’s Trail, then crossed University Drive east and entered a forest trail in Naheeno Park. The trail was covered with fallen leaves, we enjoyed colorful foliage on the way. We returned to the parking lot around 12:10 PM and enjoyed our lunch under the gilded cherry trees. Some of us lingered a little bit longer in the park to enjoy the beautiful city view and warm sunshine.

Thank you Gerard for leading and photos.
