Forecast to be a rainy day and it was - a wet day. Seven hard-core hikers still went out to enjoy this demanding hike - in the rain.
We met at the Munro Lake trailhead at 8:45am. Started hiking on this is a beautiful and challenging trail. All of the elevation gain is completed over the first three kilometres, then it really levels out the rest of the way to the lake. At noon, we arrived at Munro Lake and enjoyed our lunch - still in the rain. The lake is very serene , peaceful and beautiful with Fall colors. After lunch, we retraced our route and back to our cars by 3:345pm. A very satisfying hike.
