Polar Bear Event

This annual event which started in 1994, had a record number of eighteen people, comprised of six current members, nine former members and three guests. The cool dry weather was much appreciated.  Excellent views from our Burrard Inlet shoreline walk included Mt. Seymour and its ski runs. After the walk, three swimmers splashed into water estimated at 4 degrees C.  They emerged much refreshed, and eager to warm up. A pub lunch completed this great local tradition.
