Brandywine Falls Loop Trail

On a sunny summer day, twelve BOC members and one guest experienced a wide variety of fine scenery on this nine kilometer trip.  This included four river crossings, views of Black Tusk and surrounding peaks, Daisy Lake, and of course the beautiful waterfall itself. At the bungee jumping bridge, we watched daredevils drop fifty meters towards the Cheakamus River before just missing the rushing water. After crossing a rickety suspension bridge near the confluence of the Callaghan and Cheakamus Rivers, we enjoyed a welcome lunch break in the shade.  Later, three members swam in Lava Lake before we returned to our starting point.

Thanks to Loretta, Jupiter, Rita and Eileen for the photos and video.
