Boundary Bay Regional Park

Eight members enjoyed this sunny flat 14 km dyke walk, which offered terrific views in all directions. Starting at the 72nd St. trailhead, we proceeded east and immediately noticed numerous eagles perched on power poles and trees, and soaring overhead. Many juveniles were present, but only one large nest was observed. All of the shoreline south of the dyke is a protected area for marine life and shorebirds. At Delta Air Park, our turn-around point, we ate lunch and inspected several vintage small planes which were on display. Thanks to Yoko for driving, and for her excellent photos.
