Fleurs de Villes NOËL Walk
Downtown Vancouver felt alive and festive where we started at the Vancouver Art Galley area. Our walk was heralded by sights of a colorful ferris wheel, a tropical anta, and sounds of holiday carolers. Then we were off on our self-guided floral trail along Alberni, Robson, Burrard, and Dunsmuir to enjoy the creative and indeed xperience the enchanting floral displays, courtesy of the annual Fleurs de Villes NOËL. Our many stops included sighting of the Four Calling Birds, Five Golden Rings, and Eight Maids A-Milking Mannequins. We were also fortunate to see the imaginative Gingerbread displays at the Hyatt hotel before picking up our pace to walk towards the towering rooftop masts by the Pan Pacific as the sun set on the horizon. Indeed, the 1 day break from the rain, the very creative displays, and the cheery camaraderie brought beauty, joy and many merry outdoor moments for us. Thank you to those who came and shared photos.
