Gold Creek, Golden Ears Provincial Park – October 13 th , 2025

On a sunny but cold Monday morning five BOC members started the hike on the Lower Falls Trail in Golden Ears Prov. Park. This trail is on the East side of Gold Creek and lead to the Lower Falls. Along this trail we had good views of the creek and the Lower Falls. From there we had to scramble up the East Canyon Connector “trail”. The first half of the trail was difficult and required hand and foot work. When we reached the East Canyon Trail we continued our hike to the Viewpoint Beach where we stopped for lunch. On the way back we also had a look at the Gold Creek Bridge to get a good look at the creek. This was a great day for a hike with beautiful views!
