Pump Peak, Mount Seymour area
Four hikers met at Burnaby City Hall at 8:00am. We started our hike at 8:45am from the end of the parking lot next to the BC Parks sign board. Mount Seymour hiking trail was rocky and exposed. Fortunately, we all properly equipped with hiking shoes and hiking poles. We briefly stopped at Brockton point and continued to Pump Peak. The last 500m is kind of challenging, it was the time practicing scrambling skills. At 11:15am, we had our lunch at Pump Peak, enjoyed magnificent mountain view and magic clouds. After enjoying our lunch and photo taking, we headed down and reached parking at 2:00pm. It was a nice sunny day, we all enjoyed the beautiful hike.
Huge thanks to Su-Jane’s driving and coaching.
