Buntzen Lake to Sasamat Lake
There were four members who went on this glorious warm spring day.
We had to slow down on Barnet Highway as a young bear ran across the highway. The parking lots were almost full but we managed to get to one of the last spots and this was at 10:00 a.m. When we crossed Buntzen Lake heading to the entrance to the trail, that section of the lake was completely dried up and the metal walkway was up and down. The beach at Sasamat lake was totally Rockin Summer mode even when you went in the water to swim the sand made the water brown from everyone being in there. Was much nicer to swim past the paddle boarders and then the lake was clear. There were only a few other people on the actual trail so that was nice.
Thanks to Catherine for driving and photos
