Green Necklace Trail

It was a very lovely Saturday morning, with perfect mix ofsun and clouds. We car pooled to Mahon park and at a leisurely pace looked for the trail signs and first entered Wagg creek park, then made our way slightly uphill towards Greenway park. Here we short hiked to the top for views of Vancouver and stopped for lunch.  This park provided plenty of shade.   Then we continued clockwise going down Central Blvd admiring the colorful and well maintained gardens from 21st to 15th.  We passed Ray Perrault park, Lions Gate hospital and went into part of Mahon park where the creek and running water is delightful to see.
