False Creek Loop

Welcome to our guest Will who joined our False Creek loop walk today. We met up at Science World and went clockwise, stopping first and circling small Habitat Island. We saw birds and the wooden bird hot, and tiny buds were blooming including what looked like crocuses atop a small mound of grass as we passed near Charleson Park. We passed by 2 dog parks by the time we reached Granville Island. Here, we made our way to the public market where we enjoyed looking at the fruit stands and we each found a bite to eat, while enjoying familiar tunes sung by live performers on the open spaces. Our group decided we still had plenty of energy to complete the 360 loop so we continued up the Granville Bridge over to the north side. We kept our leisurely pace enjoying beautiful views of the water as we returned to our starting point and bid farewell.
