Tynehead Regional Park
On a pleasant winter day, four members explored both sections of this large park in North Surrey. The western side includes scenic small streams that merge to form the Serpentine River, which flows south to Boundary Bay. We completed the loop trail through mature forest and meadows, then followed the perimeter route to the eastern area. Remnants of old farm buildings remain here, with historic plaques depicting pioneer life.
Thanks to Yoko for the fine photos.
